Pigtails & Cowlicks is a family event - we started the sale in May 2006 after visiting a consignment sale in another state. Wow! With three young girls at home, I found myself longing for a similar sale in Owensboro, but there was none. Then, Greg saw the look in my eye, and knew he was destined to be my partner as we started the consignment sale adventure. We started small with 30 consignors in a tiny storefront, covered the business in prayer, and waited to see if this was something the Lord wanted us to continue. Now, He has allowed us to grow to 500 consignors at the Owensboro Convention Center, AND now HE has thrown open doors for us to grow into Huntingburg, Indiana.
We run this business as a ministry to the area families. Consignors earn money for their outgrown and gently-used kids items while shoppers can find amazing items for their children at a fraction of retail prices. When our generous consignors choose to donate their unsold items to us, we have the joy of knowing that families in need will receive items for their children at no cost. With the scores of amazing people we have had the opportunity to work with and help, we are amazed at how this dream has resulted in a blessing to us as well.
