Shopping with us is like shopping from hundreds of your friends’ outgrown toys and clothes all at one time. You will find items for your kids from babies to size 20 at 50-90% off retail prices. We set up our floor with parents in mind – super organized, wide aisles, great signage, and TONS of stuff to choose from!

+ What can shoppers find at Pigtails & Cowlicks?

With hundreds of families participating, the number of items we offer is huge. We will have toys, strollers, exercausers, bikes, cribs, books, video games, shoes, clothes (babies to size 20), furniture, and more. A list of accepted items from consignors can be found here.

+ What prices can I expect to find?

Each consignor will prepare and price their own items, so prices will vary between 50-90% off regular retail prices. There is no need to negotiate a price, as each item has already been discounted by the consignor.

+ Is there an admission fee to shop?

Our public sale days on Friday and Saturday have free admission. Access to our exclusive presales does require a ticket, and some of those tickets do have a fee for adults.

+ How do I shop a Presale?

There are several different presales available, depending on the location. For both Owensboro and Evansville, our Team Members and Consignors shop first because they are our rock stars. We also have free New Mom Presales to help families feather their nests. For details on presales, click here.

+ Can you tell me more about the New Parent Presale?

A New Parent is anyone expecting a child, parents with an infant less than 12 months of age, anyone in the process of adopting a child, and anyone fostering a child under the age of 12 months. Grandparents with a grandchild that fit the criteria are also welcome to register for a pass.

Shopping Experience

+ Can I bring my own bag to shop?

So glad you realize you need help to haul the treasure you’ll find! We have free large blue shopping bags that you can grab as soon as you walk in the door. At checkout, we will bag your items for you in a different bag. If you would like to bring something of your own – a bag, wagon, basket with wheels, a strong mother-in-law…feel free!

+ Will you hold items while I am shopping?

Yes! We hold your items two different ways. Items that are too large to carry have perforated tags that you can tear off to “claim” that item and leave it on the sales floor. For the overflowing bags you may have, you can bring those to a Pigtails Team Member, and we can take those up front to our holding area.

+ Will I have access to nursing facilities and bathrooms?

Yes – both locations have bathrooms in the lobby of the venue. Please ask a Team Member if you need privacy for nursing, and we can take you to a cozy spot.

+ What payment options does Pigtails & Cowlicks accept?

We accept cash , Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

+ With a sale this awesome, is the checkout line super long?!

Through much research and many tweaks, we have made the checkout process amazingly quick. You should spend very little time in line.
